Meghan Markle stepped out last year in a pair of Mother Denim jeans for her first public appearance with Prince Harry at the Invictus Games.
As with most things Meghan Markle wears, they sparked huge interest. But unfortunately for most fans, the jeans were from a past collection and no longer available to buy on the Mother Denim website. The brand received a huge number of requests asking if it could restock the style – priced at £160 – and now six months after Meghan wore the jeans, Mother Denim has restocked them.
“We brought back The Looker Ankle Fray in Love Gun that Meghan wore, due to the high demand which came directly from her wearing it,” Lela Becker, the label’s founder, told The Telegraph. “The day after Meghan wore our jeans, we saw nearly a 200% increase in traffic on our website – more people came to motherdenim.com that day than they did on Black Friday.”
