PETA Has Collaborated with The Kooples on This Rock ‘n’ Roll Vegan Clutch

PETA has teamed up with French brand The Kooples to create a vegan leather leopard-print clutch.

The fashion brand has been fur-free since September 2016, with Kooples global chief executive officer Nicolas Dreyfus stating: “One day I received a call from PETA asking to sit down. They came to my office and showed me a video and said, ‘You have to stop using fur. You have a powerful name and a huge network, I’m sure you can help make it stop.’ I didn’t see that there was another option.”

All proceeds from the new clutch will go towards PETA France to help fund animal rights campaigns. Designed in the brand’s signature chic, rock ‘n’ roll style, the faux–foal skin and vegan leather leopard-print clutch also carries the “PETA-Approved Vegan” label, which certifies that it’s free of animal-derived materials.

The clutch, priced at £45, is available in all The Kooples flagship stores internationally as well as from thekooples.co.uk.
